A new museum in Phoenix, Arizona, is quickly becoming a favorite of many locals and guests. The Museum of Musical Instruments features musical instruments from over 200 countries and territories around the world. When a visitor approaches an exhibit, a video will start playing showing that instrument being played. Many of the videos show people in costumes and people dancing to the music. The museum features five different galleries. They are Africa, Asia, Latin America, United States and Europe.
Another favorite landmark is the Mystery Castle, which was built in the 1930s by Boyce Luther Gulley. The 18 room three story castle is made of recycled items, including railroad tracks, automobile parts, and bottles. The Mystery Castle may soon become the property of the state of Arizona.
Another favorite landmark is the Wrigley Mansion built by William Wrigley Junior who founded the chewing gum company. Wrigley produced all the tile work for the home in his own factory in Catalina. Then he had the tile carefully hauled to Phoenix by mule. The mansion has 24 rooms, including 12 bathrooms. It served as the winter home for Mr. Wrigley.
These three landmarks are famous in Phoenix. Visitors will enjoy visiting all of them on a fun trip to Phoenix.
